Delivery

How we work

The package determines what is delivered. This process determines how every engagement is sold, started, run and closed. It is the same sequence on a three-thousand-dollar process fix as on a nine-month program, compressed where the work is small.

The first ninety days

Diagnose, design, install, review

The first ninety days, phase by phaseA horizontal timeline of four phases: Diagnose in weeks one to two producing a named constraint, Design in weeks three and four producing an agreed install plan, Install across weeks five to twelve producing a running cadence, and Review at week thirteen producing a written review pack.DiagnoseWeeks 1 to 2Constraint namedDesignWeeks 3 to 4Install plan agreedInstallWeeks 5 to 12Cadence runningReviewWeek 13Written review packKickoffContinue, pause or close
The shape of the first ninety days. Dates are set at kickoff and the review at week thirteen is a written pack, not a conversation.
Plans spread across the table in a small site office, with a hard hat and tape measure alongside
  1. 1

Your enquiry is answered within one business day, by a person, referencing what you actually sent.

  2. 2

We check the fit before anything is booked. If Ajility is not the right answer, you are told so in writing, at no cost.

  3. 3

A thirty-minute fit call. Not a pitch. It ends with a one-sentence view of what we think your constraint is, and an agreed next step with a date on it.

  4. 4

Scope and price, taken from the published catalogue. The price on the site is the price. Where the budget is the constraint, the answer is a smaller piece of work, not a cheaper version of the same one.

  5. 5

A written proposal stating the constraint in your words, what is in scope, what is explicitly out, the price and a decision date.

  6. 6

An engagement letter, executed before any work begins. No exceptions.

  7. 7

Kickoff within ten working days. The cadence is booked in calendars for the full engagement, not just the first fortnight.

  8. 8

Delivery to a fixed rhythm. Sessions are not moved for convenience. Every action carries a named owner and a date.

  9. 9

A written review pack, monthly on a retainer and at each milestone on an install. It states what moved, what did not and the honest reason.

  10. 10

An explicit decision to continue, pause or close. Engagements are not allowed to fade out.

  11. 11

Handover of everything installed, in a form you own and your team can run, with a written note on what to watch over the next two quarters.

Our standards

These apply to every engagement, regardless of size or duration.

  • No engagement begins without a signed agreement.

  • The catalogue price is the price. Discounting is not available.

  • Every deliverable is named, dated and owned.

  • No client metric or case detail is published without written consent; client names appear only with permission.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I know if a fractional COO is actually working?

Judge it at the 90-day mark: are priorities clear and owned, does the leadership meeting run to time, does the scorecard carry real actuals, and has the founder stopped being the switchboard? Ajility reviews progress in writing at each boundary.
